It is important to coordinate with the Bureau staff to insure that your proposal will be submitted on time. We suggest that the investigator follow these steps:

  1. Meet with Bureau staff three months in advance of the agency deadline to determine agency-specific requirements for applications and to file conflict of interest forms (if necessary).
  2. Six weeks in advance of the agency deadline, consult with the Deputy Director (Jack Martin) regarding budget requirements and preparation.
  3. Two to four weeks in advance of the agency deadline, provide the final text of the proposal for transfer to agency forms (electronic or otherwise) and provide the proposed budget to IUGC for review
  4. Provide a final copy of the revised/modified application to the Divisiion of Grant Services at least three days in advance of the agency deadline.
